More than eight thousand three hundred civilians have lost their lives so far since the Russian army invaded the Ukrainian territory on February 24, the Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin announced yesterday in Kyiv.
Among them were 437 children, Mr Kostin said, according to the Ukrainian news agency UNIAN.
Eleven thousand more civilians have been injured in the war, which will close nine months this week.
