In a World War II photo, a man is seen standing in a corner talking on a… mobile phone
Enthusiasts of the metaphysical, conspiracy theories and science fiction have been delighted by a photo circulating widely on social media that ‘confirms’ the idea that time ‘travellers’ exist.
This time, in a World War II photo, a man is seen standing in a corner talking on a… mobile phone.
The photo was taken in 1943 in Reykjavik, Iceland. In the upper right corner, the “time traveler” – surrounded by US soldiers – wears a trenchcoat and white trench coat and talks on his mobile phone. In fact, he looks at the lens surprised that the photographer spotted him, as the excited users comment.
However, there are also the voices of reason that say that the man is not holding a mobile phone but probably a pipe and the lens “caught” him in the mobile stop as he simply went to scratch his ear.
