Moscow v EU: We are not ‘promoters of terrorism’ you are ‘helpers in the big game’

by

“Legally, all this is insignificant, but it was done for communication noise,” says Grigory Karashin, a member of the Russian Government Senate, from Moscow.

The strong reaction of Moscow prompted the European Parliament’s resolution labeling Russia a “state sponsor of terrorism” in the shadow of the new bombings in Kyiv.

Russia is not a “promoter of terrorism” you are “helpers in the big game” declares for the European Parliament Grigory Karasina member of the Russian Government Senate, speaking of “political schizophrenia”.

The European Parliament described Russia as a state sponsor of terrorism, with 494 votes in favor, 58 against and 44 abstentions.

In particular, the EP adopted a resolution on the latest developments in Russia’s barbaric and aggressive war against Ukraine.

The MEPs underline that the deliberate attacks and atrocities committed by the Russian military forces and other forces controlled by them against civilians in Ukraine, the destruction of civilian infrastructure and other serious violations of international and humanitarian law constitute acts of terrorism and war crimes.

In this light, they recognize Russia as a state promoting terrorism and as a state “using means of terrorism”.

The statement in detail

“The European Parliament has confirmed its role as a facilitator in the game with Russia. Everything was calculated in advance.

The rhetoric is politically charged – promoting terrorism. Legally, however, all this is insignificant, but it was done for communication noise and the imposition of new signs.

Such is the auxiliary role of the European Parliament in the new “big game”.

Before that, they were shouting that they deprived us of the satellite transmission (s.s. sanctions).

Let’s see how far this political schizophrenia will go.”
