Festive events are organized by the Attica Region, transforming Pedio tou Areos, into a theme park from Friday, December 17, and the Metropolitan Park “Antonis Tritsis” into a floating Christmas village.
The governor G. Patoulis invites the citizens to visit Pedio tou Areos and the Metropolitan Park Antonis Tritsis that are “dressed” festively for the Christmas events, underlining: “From the heart of Athens, we” open “again to the public and give special color and life in the emblematic space of Pedio tou Areos, which we aspire to transform for 22 days into a vast festive stage, where various artistic and cultural events will alternate, as well as in the Metropolitan Park “Antonis Tritsis” where the citizens they will have the opportunity to enjoy a unique festive spectacle with a variety of activities “.
At Pedio tou Areos the curtain for the events opens on Friday, December 17 at 7 p.m. with the illumination of the Christmas tree.
In “Antonis Tritsis” Park, the activities focus on the water element in the heart of the park and on its educational character.
Tomorrow at the beginning there will be a road race for children up to 3rd grade “Santa run”, with gifts, a Christmas educational program of the Management Agency “Christmas stories”
