“We understand that the terrorists are planning new attacks. We know that,” said Mr. Zelensky in his speech last night. “Unfortunately, as long as they have missiles, they will not rest.”
Russia will continue its missile strikes against Ukrainian infrastructure, and air defenses and civilians must work together to withstand it, President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Sunday.
“We understand that the terrorists are planning new attacks. We know that,” said Mr. Zelensky in his speech last night. “Unfortunately, as long as they have missiles, they will not rest.”
He predicted that the current week could prove to be as difficult as last week, when strikes on power infrastructure caused the most widespread outages since Russia’s invasion of Ukrainian territory began on February 24.
“Our defense forces are getting ready. The whole country is getting ready. We have worked out all the scenarios together with our partners,” he said. “Russia is trying to use the winter, the cold, against our people,” he said, adding that “together we will endure anything.”
