It is also reported that France is currently one of the few countries in the world that has uranium enrichment capabilities, which, it is pointed out, makes the country almost independent and dominant in this strategic field.
According to the newspaper, it is certain that France’s Orano is well placed to meet any American demand, while for the French president it is underlined that “it would be obviously glorious” to export “French nuclear excellence” to the United States.
