The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendiaswill move tomorrow, Sunday, to Kazakhstan (Astana), where he will hold a series of meetings with top officials.
In particular, on Monday, December 5, the Minister of Foreign Affairs will be received by the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs will then meet with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Mukhtar Tileuberdi.
At the end of the talks, the two Ministers are expected to sign a Memorandum of Cooperation of the Diplomatic Academies.
Joint statements to the press will follow, around 08:45 (Greece time) and then a working lunch.
The visit will conclude with the meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs with the Commander of the “Astana International Financial Center”, Kairat Kelimbetov.
During the above meetings, the discussions, among other things, will have as their object, the further strengthening of bilateral relations in all sectors as well as issues of global and regional interest.
The visit to Kazakhstan is added to a series of meetings of the Minister of Foreign Affairs with his counterparts from Central Asian and Caucasian states, which took place in Poland within the framework of the OSCE Ministerial meeting (01.12.2022).
