The police arrested 14 of them, including a pregnant woman who, according to officials, pretended to give birth during the flight.

A Pegasus Airlines passenger plane flying from Morocco to Turkey made an emergency landing at Barcelona’s El Prat airport at around 4.30am after a pregnant woman pretended her waters had broken and she was in labour.

A “group of 28 passengers” managed to escape by running onto the track, the Spanish government said.

In fact, according to foreign media, when the plane landed and the doors opened for the pregnant woman to disembark, nearly 30 migrants ran out and ran to escape onto the airport runway.

The police arrested 14 of them, including the pregnant woman who pretended to give birth during the flight.
