British pop legend Elton John is saying goodbye to Twitter after being bought out by American businessman Elon Musk.
“All my life I’ve been trying to bring people together through music. It saddens me how misinformation is now being used to divide our world. I have decided to no longer use Twitter given the recent policy change that will allow misinformation to flourish unchecked,” the 75-year-old artist tweeted.
Elon Musk is yet another celebrity to quit twitter after its acquisition in protest.
