Father Andreas Vythoulkas, Primate of the Archdiocese of America spoke exclusively to the “Dekatians” and Korina Georgiou about the first official service of the church on the evening of December 5th, the eve of St. Nikolaou. Father Andreas, who draws his origins from Kos and Zakynthos, although he was born and raised in New York, respects traditions and the Greek language.
The opening of the doors of the Greek Orthodox church was performed by the Ecumenical Patriarch Mr. Bartholomew on November 2, 2021 during his visit to the USA, while the inauguration was performed by the Archbishop of America Mr. Elpidophoros on July 4, 2022.
