The Lower Saxony Public Prosecutor’s Office is conducting an investigation on suspicion of causing serious bodily harm and murder against a 44-year-old employee of a nursing home in Hildesheim, who allegedly worked while he was infected with a coronavirus and had presented a stamp. In the unit where he worked, three elderly people died recently from complications of Covid-19.
According to the North German state broadcaster NDR, the woman has admitted to using a forged certificate, which was revealed after an investigation by the management of the unit, which filed a lawsuit against her. According to the director of the nursing home, Michael Osenkop, the employee was reluctant to be vaccinated from the beginning and he was surprised when he finally presented a certificate, so he decided to investigate its authenticity. As it turned out, even the batch number of the vaccine that was written in the document was non-existent, while the signatures from the vaccination center where the employee was supposed to have given the vaccines were also fake.
Coronavirus cases have been detected in this nursing home for several days now, both between food and staff members, while since last week, three elderly people who had been infected have died.
