The experts’ take on the strange creature – How Lindsay Freeman describes the moment she found the little ‘monster’

Global interest has been caused by the photos posted on social media by a woman from Scotland, who spotted a “Loch Ness monster” baby on a beach.

Lindsay Freeman, said that the “baby monster” has a head, which is connected by a long neck to the body, where there are 4 limbs and a tail, and is very reminiscent of the well-known monster.

“I was walking on the beach at the time. It caught my eye because its shape was so unusual and large. I couldn’t think of an animal that had tail like a shark, but legs like a turtle. In addition, he had small hands and a lot strange head. It looked like a sea monster,” he wrote.

In the beginning, she revealed that she also sought opinions from other people to help her understand what this strange thing she suddenly found in front of her could be.

“I emailed my family first so they could look at it and when we couldn’t figure out what it was, I couldn’t stop wanting to know what it was because I’d never come across anything like it.”

Despite the fact that the dead Loch Ness baby was found in November, Lindsay decided to publish the images online only last week.

These were the photos that Lindsay posted online.

And while the internet couldn’t say for sure what this oddity was, the director at the UK’s Cetacean Strandings Investigation Programme, Rob Deaville, gave his exact take on the matter.

He estimated that it was a species elasmobranch, belonging to the wider family that includes sharks. “It looks like there are clasps next to the tail and eyes on the top of the head,” said Rob Deaville.

Lindsay added: “I thought it was some kind of weird shark with legs. “It was definitely slimy like a fish or water creature.”

Lindsay’s friends and family guessed it was a dogfish, a loggerhead turtle or the Loch Ness Monster. None of these answers seemed satisfactory. On the other hand online, there were many suggestions such as dogfish, turtle, salamander, lizard, sea monster, Loch Ness monster.

As soon as he posted Rob Deaville’s response, he received a flood of funny and serious responses.
