Group Wagner: On the front line and with… special tactics the prisoners who have been recruited

by

Individual groups of mercenaries are ordered to move forward, often with fire support, but very rarely with armored vehicles – Those who deviate from the course face reprisals

The management of the Russian private military company Wagneraccording to the intelligence service of the British Ministry of Defense, in the fighting near the Bahamut, uses a special tactic for Russian prisoners recruited into this unit. This tactic consists of giving individual fighters a smartphone or tablet with a satellite photo of the attack target. At the platoon level and above, commanders remain hidden and issue orders by radio while observing the battlefield from small unmanned aerial vehicles.

Individual groups of mercenaries are ordered to move forward, often with fire support, but very rarely with armored vehicles. Those who deviate from the route face retaliation.

“Individuals and divisions are ordered to proceed along the pre-planned route, often with fire support, but less often together with armored vehicles. Wagner mercenaries who deviate from their attack routes without authorization are likely to be summarily executed.”

According to British intelligence, the purpose of this brutal tactic is to use large numbers of poorly trained prisoners, who are considered “expendable” in order to save commanders and armored vehicles.
