Italian police officers crossed part of the country with a Lamborghini to deliver two kidneys to patients who were waiting for these organs to be transplanted, police announced today.
“Traveling the highway to deliver the greatest Christmas gift: life. Thanks to the special Santa Claus of the police, two people received a kidney as a gift.” Italian police wrote on their Facebook page.
Photos posted on social media show a police officer and a nurse placing a blue medical cooler containing the two kidneys into the car’s front trunk.
The two precious organs they left Padua and delivered one to a hospital in Modena and the other to a hospital in Rome.
