US meteorologists are warning of life-threatening weather conditions, calling it a “once in a generation” phenomenon.
More than 200 million Americans, or 60% of the population, are affected by the historic severe weather that is hitting the United States from end to end.
“Severe weather extends across the central and eastern states and wide from the East Coast to the Pacific Northwest,” according to the weather service.
