The Ukrainian website RBC is broadcasting two videos it claims show the moment air raid sirens sound and shortly afterwards a loud explosion can be seen.
Reports of explosions at the Engels air base in Russia’s Saratov region — which is hundreds of kilometers from the Russia-Ukraine border — were reported a while ago by Reuters citing Ukrainian media.
The Engels base is located approximately 730 kilometers southeast of Moscow. It is one of two Russian strategic bomber bases, the other being in the Russian Far East.
