The Brazilian government, in an official announcement, declared three days of national mourning for the loss of the greatest football player the country has ever produced.

Santos, the team he worked for, announced that Pele’s body, will be put on popular pilgrimage, in the center of its pitch, “Vila Belmiro”. from 10 a.m. Monday (local time), until 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Since Pele’s death was announced, thousands of Santos fans have flocked to their club’s historic home to pay their respects to the Brazilian “King” of the ball.
At the same time, Pele’s family intends to officially ask the management of Santos to withdraw the jersey with “10” from the team, in memory of the greatest football player that Brazil has produced.
There will be a procession of the body through the streets of SĂŁo Paulo and it will pass by Canal 6, where Dona Celeste, Pele’s mother, lives, who is 100 years old.
The burial will take place in a close family circle, in the “Ecumenical Necropolis Monument”, next to the coast of SĂŁo Paulo.
