Donald Trump was criticized by some of his supporters as he admitted that he also received the boost for COVID-19.
The former US president was criticized by members of the audience in Dallas on Sunday, when he admitted that he had received the booster dose.
This development came at a time when US officials and scientists are calling for the population to be vaccinated amid an increase in cases due to the Omicron variant.
Mr. Trump rarely talks about whether he got the vaccine and has largely refused to encourage others to do so – despite defending the government’s efforts to take action.

In a video posted on Bill O’Reilly’s Twitter account “No spin news”, Mr. Trump is heard discussing the vaccine with the former Fox News presenter.
Mr O’Reilly said: “Both the President and I are ill-educated.
He then asks his guest: “Did you take the booster dose?” to which Mr. Trump answers “Yes.”
