Yesterday Wednesday, EU member states agreed to a “coordinated preventive approach” given the developments regarding the spread of COVID-19 in China.
According to the announcement, it was agreed that member states will recommend that all passengers on flights to and from China wear a mask as well as provide advice on health measures to inbound and outbound travelers from or to China.
Member States are also encouraged to introduce, for all passengers departing from China to Member States, the requirement for a negative COVID-19 test to be obtained no later than 48 hours prior to departure.
Today, this measure was announced by Sweden and the Germanyfollowing her example Italy and her Spainwho had announced that the negative rapid test will be necessary for those arriving in the country from China.
Also, with a negative 48-hour Covid test, trips from China to England will be made from today, as announced by the British government.
