“In the Aegean, they even kill them intentionally by sinking their boats, beat them, rob them, humiliate them and force them to leave their borders,” said the Turkish President.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan persists in defiant rhetoric, speaking of countries which he claims have turned into havens for traitors escaping Turkish justice.

Additionally, as it transmits the envoy of SKAI in Istanbul, Manolis Kostidis he talks about countries that leave refugees to die at sea.

“In the Aegean, they even kill them intentionally by sinking their boats, they beat them, they rob them, they humiliate them and they force them to leave their borders,” he said, essentially accusing our country once again.

“Today, some countries with which we are together in NATO, the Council of Europe or the UN have turned into havens for traitors escaping from Turkish justice. No action is being taken, no clear step is being taken to hold the terrorists accountable to justice,” the Turkish president added in his statements.

“Thanks to our operations in the Aegean, the number of migrants saved from the brink of death reaches 20,000 last year alone,” he added.

“On the other hand, the countries that leave refugees to die at sea, in the Aegean, kill them even deliberately by sinking their boats, beat them, rob them, humiliate them and force them out of their borders, unfortunately, however, these countries are held in very high esteem. Despite all the images, the witnesses, the news and the complaints, unfortunately no step is taken towards those who exercise this oppression” added the Turkish president.
