Six people were killed when gunmen opened fire on a family’s home in Goshen, California.
Tulare County Sheriff Mike Boudreau spoke of the “horrific carnage” that was pre-plannedwhile he estimated that he is connected to drug gangs.
The police found two of the victims of the attack lying on the street outside the house, one at the entrance and three inside it. Among the victims is a 17-year-old mother and her six-month-old baby. A man succumbed to his injuries after being transported to a hospital.
“We believe that the family was targeted and we believe that gangs were involved in this incident,” the sheriff said, recalling that a search warrant had been issued at the home last week for the discovery of narcotics.
The police believe that the perpetrators of the attack were at least two and conducts an investigation to locate them.
