At least eight people were shot at an event marking Martin Luther King Jr. in Florida, according to CNN.
All eight of the injured were adults and one is in serious condition. Four other people were injured in fights that followed the shooting.
Local police said they believed the shootings were motivated by personal disagreements between some of those attending the event, which brought together more than 1,000 people in Fort Pierce. According to the sheriff, evidence points to the presence of multiple shooters.
No information on suspects has been released.
