Condolence messages from the EU leadership for the victims of the helicopter crash in Ukraine

Messages of condolence for the tragedy that occurred in the Ukrainian city of Brovary this morning when the helicopter crashed in which 18 people, including three children, and the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine died, were sent by Ursula von der Leyen, Joseph Borel and Charles Michel via Twitter.

“Tragedy strikes the heart of war-torn Ukraine. My deepest condolences to the families of the victims and the entire country after the helicopter crash in Broweri. We mourn with you,” said Ursula von der Leyen.

“Helicopter crash in #Brovary is a terrible tragedy, costing many lives, including children and Minister Monastyrskyi, Yenin’s deputy, Deputy Minister Lubkovich. We stand by the Ukrainian people at this time of sorrow and wish the injured a speedy recovery,” said Jose Borel.

“We join #Ukraine in grief after the tragic helicopter crash in #Brovary Minister Denys Monastyrsky was a great friend of the EU. We share our deepest condolences to the families of the victims, President @ZelenskyyUa, Prime Minister @Denys_Shmyhal and the people of #Ukraine” pointed out Charles Michel.
