“We understand Greece’s unjustified outbursts for our defense industry as well as the PKK’s”
Recep Tayyip Erdogan presented Greece and the PKK as enemies of Turkey who have the same “concern” about the army and the defense industry of his country.
Speaking at the meeting of his party group, Erdogan specifically emphasized:
“We know that those who attack a country’s military and defense industry are those who see them as a threat. For example, even though we find Greece’s outbursts on this matter unjustified, we understand it.
In the same way, the cries of the PKK are reasonable and we take this down. As we also understand that they see the military power of our country as a threat to their polar interests.
But what we find difficult to understand and what saddens us is that a party in this country, the president of a party and its members, their dissatisfaction with the military and our defense industry.”
