Volodymyr Zelensky’s adviser Mykhailo Podoliak has called for Kiev to be supplied with tanks, saying they should stop “trembling” Russian President Vladimir Putin

Kyiv opened fire on Berlin on Thursday, without however making a name reference, citing the German government’s reluctance to send tanks Leopard 2 in Ukraine, or to “give the green light” for other countries to send them.

Volodymyr Zelensky’s advisor Mihailo Podoliakcalled for Kiev to be supplied with tanks, saying they should stop “trembling” Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“Time to stop cowering Putin and take the final step,” Podoliak tweeted. “From Washington to London, from Paris to Warsaw, one thing is said: Ukraine needs tanks … tanks – the key to ending the war properly.”

“True leadership it means leading by example, not looking at what others are doing,” Podoliak added, following reports that Berlin expects the United States to take the first step by sending its own M1 Abrams tanks.

Warsaw, however, says it is ready to send its own Leopard 2 tanks, even without Germany’s consentPrime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said according to Politico.

“Either we will reach this agreement quickly or we will do the right thing ourselves,” the Polish prime minister clarified.
