Cavusoglu fires shots at the West: “The closing of the Turkish consulates is a deliberate action”

“Since you don’t share any of your information with us then the closing of the consulates is a deliberate action” said the Turkish Foreign Minister

New “fire” against the countries that decided to close the consulates of Istanbul for security reasons, launched the country’s foreign minister, Mevlut Cavusoglu, saying that these were “deliberate actions”.

“Since you are not sharing any of your information with us then closing the consulates is a deliberate action. These actions are intentional. We also know that some ambassadors call others on the phone and tell them to “shut up too”” he said in his speech as broadcast the SKAI correspondent from Istanbul, Manolis Kostidis.

Yesterday, the Turkish Foreign Minister unleashed “fire” on the countries that closed the Turkish consulates, arguing that “they should inform Turkey if there is a terrorist threat”, Cavusoglu said, adding that they do not share “specific” information and documents with Ankara.

“They tell us, ‘we have specific information, there is a threat. That’s why we’re closing. Who does it come from? Where; Who will do it? There is no information about it,” he said.

Turkey’s Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu also turned his arrows against the US yesterday, saying that the United States “is behind ISIS and Al-Qaeda”.
