A case of premeditated murder, with the victim being 53-year-old Andreas Evangelou, is being investigated by the Cyprus police.
According to the authorities, around 8.30 p.m. On Tuesday night, the information was received from the police, for shooting in the parking lot of an apartment building, in Larnaca.
Police officers went to the scene, where they located a car. Inside the vehicle, the 53-year-old was found dead, who had injuries, which seem to have been caused by a firearm.
From the testimonies collected by the police, it appears that a scooter-type motorcycle, on which two people were riding, was following the vehicle of the 53-year-old.
In the attempt of the victim to park in the parking lot, one of the passengers of the motorcycle, approached the car and allegedly shot the 53-year-old.
The scene was cordoned off by the police for conducting examinations, during which various items were received.
The body of the 53-year-old was transported to the morgue of the General Hospital of Nicosia, where an autopsy is expected to be performed.
