The messages of the American president, Joe Bidento the Turkish president, Recep Tayyip Erdoganis expected to be brought to Ankara today by the American Minister of Foreign Affairs, Anoni Blinken, in the meeting he will have today with his counterpart, Mevlut Cavusoglu.
On the agenda of the discussions will be the Greek-Turkish, the F-16, but also the integration of Sweden and Finland into NATO, a move which Turkey is blocking.
Blinken has been in Turkey since yesterday and together with Cavusoglu visited the earthquake affected areas.
This is the first visit of the American Foreign Minister to Turkey, in the two years of the Bennett administration, which demonstrates the state of Turkish-American relations, as commented by the SKAI correspondent in Istanbul, Manolis Kostidis.
Anthony Blinken was welcomed by Mevlut Cavusoglu. Also present was the US ambassador in Ankara, whom 15 days ago Cavusoglu had accused of attempting a coup.

“No my boss!” the soldier replies.
