THE Russian President Vladimir Putin speaking today, Tuesday at an enlarged meeting of the board of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation (FSB), he also admitted that members of it have been killed in Ukraine.

“Unfortunately, there are losses in our ranks,” he said at the opening of a meeting of the FSB. “FSB leadership must do everything possible to provide additional support to the families of our fallen comrades” he added.

Putin said that “2022 was a special year for the whole country and for your service.”

“FSB units directly participated in the special military operation, solved complex, non-standard operational tasks here, covering state borders, actively fighting terrorism, organized crime, corruption and extremism”Putin argued.

“I would like to thank the administration and all employees of the department, especially those who acted on the front lines, in the liberated territories, on the front lines and, I will add, behind enemy lines. I want to thank you for this work, dear comrades”, he said.
