To the health of Alina Kabaeva. Dance of millions for him Vladimir Putin with vodka under his name via Cypriot offshore. The Cypriot company Ermira Consultants, whose nominal owner was lawyer Vladislav Kopilov from St. Petersburg, became the personal offshore company of the Russian president as well as his family and environment, according to new research by the investigative journalism website “Project”.

The Project website describes its research as a “story about how Vladimir Putin’s minions they secured a royal life for Alina Kabaeva [σ.σ. τη φερόμενη ως σύντροφο του Πούτιν] and her children, while the secret services hid the existence of this family from the whole country”.

The website’s reporters spoke with the “key manager of the business empire of one of the president’s closest friends” who had “a direct connection to the direction of a secret financial network” that included Ermira. However, the website does not reveal his first and last name.

“We used the term ‘to make the payments from Ermira’, which meant to use Putin’s money for the payments of one or another trade agreement (in his interest),” claims the site’s interlocutor.

Ermira’s activities involved at the same time many people from Putin’s entourage, who did not have business relations with each other, the investigation states.

As the “Project” website writes, Putin was making money and from the sales of “Putinka” vodka. According to the story of the journalists of the website in question, the brand of vodka was invented by the company “Vinexim”. Its owner, according to the “Project” interlocutor, had asked the businessman and friend of Putin, Arkady Rotenberg, for permission to use his surname in the vodka brand.

He agreed and the trademark rights initially went to the company “Promibex” and after 10 years to the company “Rial-invest”, which was its subsidiary. In 2021, the brand went to the company “Baikal-invest”, a company with an opaque structure, as journalists write.

“We cannot claim that the new owner of the vodka brand also has relations with Ermira and ultimately with Putin, but what we know for sure is that behind Baikal-invest are the same managers of Rotenberg, related with other projects of Putin’s “fund”, the article underlines.

As the interlocutor of the “Project” stated, even in the 2000s the distribution networks that wanted to market the vodka “Putinka” brought to Rothenberg “bags full of cash – as payment for the license to sell the vodka under his name president-, while part of this money was “always intended for Putin”. According to the data of the journalists, from 2014 to 2019, from the production, rights and sales of drinks under the brand name ‘Putinka’ there could have been profits of up to 500 million dollars.

Among other things, the “Project” publication claims, in 2009 Ermira owned 24% of the shares of the “National Media Group”, but later this percentage was reduced.

The Ermira company, the investigation states, participated in the construction of Putin’s palace in Gelendzhik. Also according to the data of the investigation, through the company that covered the personal needs of Putin and his entourage, a 120 sq.m. apartment was purchased. in Moscow, two mansions in the settlement “Usovo plyus” in Moscow as well as three apartments and a luxury two-story penthouse in Sochi, 2,600 sq.m. Which is located in the “Karoliovsky Park” (Kings Park) complex and in 2021 was recognized as the largest apartment in Russia. According to the investigation, this penthouse was bought by Oleg Rudnov in 2011 for 90 million rubles, a price five times lower than its actual price.

A source for the website says that Rudnoff bought the apartment in question for her Alina Kabaeva. Also, two apartments on the upper and adjacent floors of the complex have been purchased in the name of Kabaeva’s grandmother, Anna Zatsepilina.

A reporter for the website “Proekt” posing as a buyer, met with two brokers, who are selling apartments in this complex, who said they heard that the penthouse “is owned by Kabaeva”.
