“It was very scary … Because we really saw that the devil is not somewhere else, he is on Earth,” said Zelensky
THE Volodymyr Zelensky has revealed his scariest day in the Ukraine war so far, a year after Vladimir Putin ordered the invasion of his country.
The Ukrainian president referred to the day he “saw the devil” and what the Russian tyrant’s bloodthirsty troops were really capable of. Zelensky was asked about the scariest day of the war so far, to which he replied: “Buka”.
It referred to the city where a massacre of civilians was discovered immediately after its liberation by the Russians.
“What I saw the moment we recaptured her. It was very scary… Because we really saw that the devil is not somewhere else, he is on Earth” he said characteristically.
In battle-torn Buka, bodies of civilians who had been executed in cold blood lay in the streets. The lifeless bodies of hundreds of civilians, some with signs of torture, lay in mass graves in this small town in the Kiev region.
Images of these massacres have outraged the West and the UN, and accusations of war crimes are multiplying, despite Moscow’s denials.
