The Duke and Duchess of Sussex Harry and Meghan they are believed to have received an invitation to attend King Charles’ coronation on May 6, despite the couple’s public criticism of the royal family.

A spokesman for the Sussexes said Prince Harry had received an email from Buckingham Palace regarding the historic ceremony, which will take place at Westminster Abbey.

However, the spokesperson declined to say whether the couple will accept the challenge.

This development comes just days after the confirmation of the “expulsion” of the Sussexes from Frogmore Cottage, their British residence located on the royal estate of Windsor, ordered by Charles.

The royal order was reportedly given on January 11, following the release of Harry’s autobiography, Reserve, which featured attacks on his brother Prince William and his stepmother Camilla.

During the weekend, moreover, another interview of Prince Harry, with the controversial psychotherapist Dr. Gabor Mate, was broadcast on a subscription platform, in which he said that he was deprived of hugs and attention during his “incredibly painful” childhood and that always felt “different” from the rest of his family.
