A man lost his life because of strong turbulence in private jet flightt, on USA.
According CNN report the Bombardier CL30 took off from Dilland-Hopkins Airport in New Hampshire, bound for Virginia. But after heavy turbulence, it finally landed at Connecticut Airport at about 4:00 p.m. local time on Friday.
“The NTSB is investigating the March 3 turbulence incident involving a Bombardier Challenger 300 airplane that veered into Windsor Locks, Connecticut, resulting in the fatal injury of a passenger,” the US National Transportation Safety Board said on Twitter.
Three passengers and two crew members were aboard the private jet, according to CNN.
The incident is being investigated by the Civil Aviation Administration, the Transportation Safety Board and the FBI.
There was no impact on airport operations, according to a statement from the Connecticut Airport Authority.
The Connecticut Office of the Chief Medical Examiner was to conduct an autopsy Saturday on the passenger who died, a spokesman told CNN.
“Investigators have removed the cockpit voice recorder and flight data recorder and are continuing to collect information from the flight crew, operator and other passengers,” the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) wrote in its statement.
A preliminary incident report will be available in two to three weeks.
