The videos with “tips” on how to make a baby calm down were uploaded to Tik Tok by its parents, apparently considering it something funny and sweet
Videos of a two-year-old boy wrapped tightly from the neck down with plastic wrap, his parents holding him like a doll or throwing him on the bed like a toy, with the toddler crying and visibly distressed, have been making the rounds online. parents laugh and enjoy it.
The videos with “tips” on how to get a baby to calm down were uploaded to Tik Tok by his parents, Savannah Glembin and her military husband, considering it something funny and sweet.
However, the public outcry was so great that the local authorities were mobilized and the police together with the services rushed to their apartment and took the child from them, to move him to a safer environment.
After the uproar Savannah “locked” her account but user @Auntkaren0 caught up and “rescued” some snaps. At one point, the father can be seen laughingly pushing the agitated toddler into their bed while the boy looks horrified with tears welling up in his eyes.
The mother can be heard saying in the background, “If you have a grumpy toddler all day, this is the only way.”
She then focuses on her laughing dog as she zooms in as she jumps down on the bed.
Meanwhile the little boy is seen in the background being pushed face down on the bed by his father. “It’s a worm,” says the mother, laughing.
Then the little boy, motionless and lying on the bed, lets out a groan.

After the backlash Savannah Glembin explained that they did it as a joke, that the baby was having fun and laughing and that it was her mistake to upload the videos. She didn’t convince anyone, she caused even more anger, with the result that the authorities finally took her child away.
Following this development, the young mother – no longer laughing but devastated with tears in her eyes – uploaded a new video where she insisted her son was “not upset at all” and that the video was distorted, resulting in her child being taken away. “Right now, we’re dealing with a situation where the little one has been removed from us until the state assesses our home because I posted a video of my husband and son playing.”

“… Hank playfully wrapped him in plastic wrap, he had room to move, he looked like a little cucumber. At no point was she suffering or crying (although the pictures showed otherwise). We would never harm our son… We made a mistake and we don’t deserve to have our child taken from us because of it,” he said.
Finally, after an investigation, the authorities decided that the baby is growing up in a safe environment and returned the little boy home to his parents and his mom uploaded a tender video of her holding him.
@savannahglembin CPS cleared us of wrongdoing and determined our home, with us, is a safe one for our son, despite that…a hard lesson was learned, a mistake we will never make again, this weekend was extremely traumatic for us as a family and will be taking time away to heal
