The sudden death of the South American rapper Costa Titch, his family announced on Instagram. The 28-year-old collapsed on stage while singing.

The rapper was of Greek origin and his name was Konstantinos Tzobanoglou. Videos posted on social media show the rapper falling on stage and someone picking him up. It stays upright for a few seconds and then collapses.

His family confirmed his death with a post on Instagram stating: “Death has tragically knocked on our door. He stole our beloved son, brother and grandson from us.”

His family’s statement did not give a cause of death.

Organizers of the festival where he was performing, Ultra South Africa, said they were “devastated” by the young rapper’s death.

Tsobanoglou’s career had a rapid rise. The song “Big Flexa” volhe became a star across Africa after his success on TikTok.

Tsobanoglou’s death comes a month after his friend and collaborator, rapper AKA, was killed in a shooting.
