The legendary tennis player announced that she managed to come out victorious in the fight against laryngeal cancer, with which she was diagnosed in early January
H Martina Navratilova (Martina Navratilova) revealed in early January that she has double breast and throat cancer. At the time, the iconic athlete had declared that “I will fight with everything I have” and had appeared optimistic.
Now, on Piers Morgan’s popular TV show TalkTV, the legendary tennis player announced that she managed to emerge victorious in the race she fought. “As the doctors told me there is no longer any problem,” said the 66-year-old star of the tennis courts.
He added that he only has two more weeks of radiation treatment to go bosom her and that after that “I will be free”.
In fact, he confessed that he feared he “wouldn’t live until next Christmas” and that beating the disease was the “hardest thing”.

She said the diagnosis in January forced her to put plans to adopt a child with her wife Julia Lemigova on hold, and she even compiled a list of things she wanted to do before she died.
However, the winner of 18 Grand Slams in her huge career was lucky in that she diagnosed both cancers early.
“Who has two cancers at once? I’ve never been weak, but this is getting ridiculous,” Navratilova said in her emotionally charged interview.
However, once again demonstrating the fortitude and strength that led her to her huge career, the iconic athlete said: “Backing down, giving up, is not an option for me, it’s not in my DNA. I just keep going.”
In 2010, Navratilova was diagnosed with noninvasive breast cancer and beat it six months later, after first undergoing a lumpectomy and six weeks of radiation.
