Russian forces continue to attack Bakhmut – During the last day, the Russians fired 178 times with artillery and rockets

Oleksandr Sirskyi, the commander of the ground forces of Ukraine, posted on Telegram:
“Enemy raiding parties are trying to advance from the outskirts towards the city center but our defense forces are working and destroying them.”
Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces have continued to focus their attacks towards Bakhmut, Serhi Tserevaty, a spokesman for the Eastern Group of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, said on national television today, Tuesday.
“During the last day, the enemy fired 178 times with artillery and rockets at Bahmut,” said Serhi Tserevati. He also added that “26 battles and one air strike took place.”
Inside Bahmut, 59 attacks and 13 battles took place, Tserevati added.
Russian and Ukrainian forces are fighting fiercely for control of the eastern region of Donetsk.
