The estimated cost for the reconstruction of Ukraine after the Russian invasion it reaches 411 billion dollars, according to the The World Bank.

Of this amount, an estimated $135 billion will be given in damages – mainly in the housing, transport, energy, trade and industry sectors , according to the bank. The majority of the damage is concentrated in the eastern frontline areas, including Donetsk, Kharkiv and Luhansk.
This updated cost estimate covers damage caused by the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022. As of June 2022, the World Bank estimated the cost of reconstruction at $349 billion.
“The amount of damage and recovery needs do not include data on the loss of infrastructure, homes and businesses in the occupied territories,” Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmykhal said, referring to areas controlled by Russian troops. “When the defense forces release them, we expect that the data will be analyzed and the government will immediately start rehabilitation work in these areas.”
The cost of reconstruction is a joint estimate made by the Government of Ukraine, the World Bank, the European Commission and the United Nations.
