The medical examiner found 101 separate injuries on the little girl’s body, which included severe brain damage

The mother of a two-year-old girl from Wales and her partner described as a “monster” in court, were found guilty of brutally murdering the little girl in July 2021, with the second being the natural perpetrator.
Swansea Crown Court heard how 31-year-old Kyle Bevan savagely attacked his partner Sinead James’ two-year-old daughter Lola at their home in Haverfordwest.
The medical examiner found 101 separate wounds on the little girl’s body, who had suffered, among other things, severe brain damage. As was typically mentioned in the trial, the victim had suffered one “vicious and extremely violent attack.”
Bevan claimed the little girl had fallen down the stairs of the house when she was pushed by the family’s bulldog. After the girl was injured he even took a short video of his victim on his phone.
The child’s mother was the one who called the perpetrator a “monster”, saying that if he had kicked him out of the house her daughter would still be alive.
James, 30, was found guilty, however, of causing or facilitating the death of a minor. As it turned out, Lola’s mother had been warned about the dangerousness of the perpetrator, whom he had met a few months earlier.
The incident occurred on the morning of July 17, 2021, with Bevan waking James to tell her that her daughter had fallen down the stairs.
The mother found her daughter on the couch at home with her head and lips swollen shut. The little girl succumbed to her injuries four days later.
