New medical bulletin issued by the doctors attending the former prime minister of Italy, Silvio Berlusconi saying that his health is showing “steady improvement” during his treatment for a lung infection.

In the announcement signed by Professor Alberto Zangrillo, Berlusconi’s personal physician and director of general intensive care and cardiac surgery at the Milan hospital, together with Professor Fabio Ciccheri, it is stated that “in the last 48 hours there has been a progressive and continuous improvement in the functioning of the monitored organs. Cytoreductive, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory treatments produce the expected results, allowing us to express cautious optimism”.

At the same time, it is pointed out that Berlusconi continues to be treated in the intensive care unit of the hospital.
