With a post on Twitter that talks about inaccuracies comment on it British Ministry of Defence the leaks of secret US military documents referring to the presence of British commandos in Ukraine.
The documents, originally leaked on the Discord platform, which is used mainly by those who play video games and analyzed by British media, refer to the presence of 50 members of British special forces on Ukrainian soil in February and March.
In total, there is talk of deployment of 97 members of NATO countries’ special forces in Ukraine, of which 15 are French and 14 are American.
Although representatives of the British Ministry of Defense did not respond to a call for an official reaction, the ministry’s Twitter account said: “The widely publicized leak of allegedly classified US intelligence has demonstrated a serious level of inaccuracy. Readers should be wary of accepting complaints that have the potential to spread misinformation.”
The documents do not specify the nature of the alleged mission of British and other troops to Ukraine, or whether they remain there.
