Finally, it was announced today by a Buckingham Palace spokesperson that Harry will finally attend his father’s coronation next month, but his wife will not.

Meghan and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilybet, will not travel to Britain for the coronation but will remain in California, according to the Palace statement.

It will be the first time Harry has been reunited with his royal family since the release of his best-selling memoir, Spare, last January.

The coronation is scheduled for May 6 at Westminster Abbey.

Preparations have been overshadowed recently by Harry and Meghan’s revelations about the king, heir to the throne Prince William and other members of the royal family, in Harry’s memoirs, a Netflix documentary and a series of television interviews by the couple.
