There are 1,606 patients with Covid-19 in the intensive care units of the country, while there are 16,340 in the hospital wards. In total, 17% of ICU beds have transported patients with the virus, while in hospital wards the rate increases to 24%.

Tomorrow, after an appeal of two parents in a local administrative court, the primary schools and high schools will be operating normally in the wider area of ​​Naples. Initially, the governor of Campania, Vincenzo de Luca, had decided to postpone the return of students to school until the end of January.

Today, on the first day of the reopening of Italian schools, according to the country’s high school principals, 10% of the teachers were absent from the classrooms.
