Out of control the pre-election climate in Turkeysix days before the elections, as Tayyip Erdoğan’s hard-line far-right government partner Devlet Bakhceli directly threatened opposition officials with physical extermination, as reported by Manolis Kostidis.

“The allies of Kemal Kilicdaroglu say that they will abolish the Directorate of Religious Affairs and that they will take the city of Afrin. But either they will be sentenced to life imprisonment, or they will receive bullets in their bodies!» said Bakhceli characteristically.
