Preparations are feverish in Ankara, according to the report of SKAI’s correspondent in Istanbul, Manoli Kostidis, so that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan can potentially go out within the next hour to the balcony of the Justice and Development party building, in order to carry out speaking.

The first results and the first estimates started to come out in Turkey, after the completion of the electoral process.

With integration at 69.12%, Recep Tayyip Erdogan leads with 51.14%, against Kemal Kilicdaroglu’s 43.05% and Sinan Ogan’s 5.31%.

From the indications so far, everything points to ErdoÄŸan coming first. The thriller, however, will be about whether the Turkish president will manage to stay above 50%, in order to ensure his re-election tonight.

The polls in the neighboring country, both for the presidential and parliamentary elections, closed at 5 pm and the counting of votes began immediately, in more than 200,000 polling stations.

Almost 65 million Turkish citizens were registered on the electoral rolls, with participation reaching an impressive 93.6%.
