A hospital in the eastern Ukrainian city of Dnipro was hit by a Russian missile attack today, the governor of Dnipropetrovsk, in which the city is located, said.

“Rocket attack in Dnipro (…) they attacked medical facilities. There are victims,” ​​Serhii Lisak said in a post on the Telegram messaging app, referring to the Russians.

Overnight, Ukraine shot down 10 missiles and more than 20 drones launched by Russian forces in attacks on the capital Kyiv, the city of Dnipro, Kharkiv and other eastern regions.

Russia has stepped up its missile and drone attacks in Ukraine this month, mainly targeting infrastructure and logistics facilities ahead of an expected Ukrainian counterattack.
