The image went viral kitty in Ukraine. The photo shows a cat in one refuge of his subway Kiev – suffering from Russian attacks – while wrapped in a pink blanket.

Local news agency United24.media said the image “conveys the mood of the entire Ukrainian nation”.
The image was taken on the same day a 9-year-old girl, her mother and another woman were killed in a Russian missile attack in Kiev.

They failed to reach the shelter to which they rushed according to eyewitnesses.
The Kremlin has denied targeting civilians or committing war crimes, although its airstrikes have wreaked havoc across Ukraine since the invasion began on February 24, 2022.
