Party Gate: They even took a refrigerator to keep the drinks cold – The fiesta is over, say the British

by

This time not behind closed doors but just outside Downing Street.

Protesters wear a blonde wig mask with the figure of the prime minister and are having a frantic party with alcohol flowing abundantly.

The wreaths at the prime minister’s house were endless… And host Boris Johnson seems to have been urging workers to spend in the middle of a lockdown.

A number of Conservative MPs here in Britain have told the BBC they have received a barrage of emails from angry voters as revelations continue about Downing Street parties while pandemic control measures were in place, a reporter said.

The Daily Mirror reports that workers at No. 10 Downing Street – the official prime minister’s home – drank regularly every Friday.

They even bought a refrigerator worth 2 142 to keep their wine, apricots and beers icy at the established Friday appointment.

“We have a Prime Minister who is absent. To be precise, he is hiding at the moment and is unable to lead, which is why I have come to the conclusion that he has to leave,” said Kir Starmer, Britain’s main opposition leader.

The “partygate” is causing a rift in the Tories party, something that is also reflected in the British press.

All the headlines nail Johnson. But so do British citizens.

The last word now has the special commission set up to investigate the case.
