A new video from the moment of the rescue of the four children in Colombia is released.

The video shows the first moments when the four missing children were found alive after the plane crash. The children managed to survive alone in the Amazon jungle in Colombia for days.

In the video, rescuers can be seen tending to the children, with a man holding a child in his arms.

Two pilots along with the children’s mother were killed when the aircraft crashed on May 1. The brothers, aged 13, nine, five and one, were located on June 9 – where they were rescued and airlifted from the jungle to a military hospital in the Colombian capital, Bogota.

Rescue dog wanted

At the same time, Colombian search and rescue teams have been mobilized to find Wilson, the rescue dog who went missing during a search in the jungle.

It is about a Belgian shepherd who got lost in the dense forests of the Amazon after first leading the authorities on the trail of the children.

Many Colombians are posting photos of Wilson to support search and rescue efforts, while media outlets are following developments closely.

The Corps of Engineers of the Colombian Armed Forces tweeted a photo of Wilson as a puppy. The accompanying message reads: “Wilson was born, raised and trained by us. The operation is not over: Our soldiers continue the search day and night to find our four-legged hero.”
