THE funeral of “Cavalier” – the honorary title of Knight that accompanied him to the end, even if he had lost it – will take place at 3 pm local time, at public expense, with military honors.
According to what has been made known by the Italian press, after the funeral, the body of the Italian tycoon and former prime minister is to be cremated and placed in the mausoleum that had been created, by his will, in the park of his villa in Arcore, just outside Milan.
Already, dozens of wreaths have begun to arrive at the Duomo, while crowds of people, supporters of Forza Italia as well as fans of Milan and AC Monza, teams of which Silvio Berlusconi was president, gather around the square of the cathedral to watch the funeral from giant screens and to say goodbye to “Presidente Silvio”.
